The vibe is chilling when I was there since I arrived begining of Thier start working hour. Thier Pu er tea I enjoy it taste so good . Chrysanthemum tea was perfect taste as it for children .Thier dim sum taste good but it quite sad that the skin was too soft that easily broke that lead the juice came off most of the time.seaweed soup dumpling amount was perfect per person ratio.Sausage bun is what I like the most due to the juiciness. The pan fried dumplings was good as it's not too crunchy the skin if you stuff one piece inside the mouth which will not hurt you that much like gyoza

Best and authentic Southeastern Chinese food! Must try the Shanghai style teamed pork bun!!! We also ordered the pork and bamboo root soup, which was very light and fresh. The Chinese pickles with fish fillet tasted great, not too much decoration but it's savoury when you try the pickled cabbages. Also we had the green soya bean with pickles, which was the best companion for rice. Fried pork ribs were crispy and yummy, worth the price. Last, when we left, we had Shanghai style fried fish cold dish as takeaway. But I could not resist the tempt and tried one piece, which brought me back home. Definitely recommend it!!!

Loved our visit. The 6 of us shared 5 dishes and enjoyed everyone. The two children were treated kindly by the staff. The atmosphere was homely and very pleasant. Will be returning.

As a Shanghainese myself, I gotta say this restaurant offers the most authentic Shanghai local food in Lower Hutt, if not in Wellington. The fish fillet and the fried rice are amazing. Love them all! Thank you. Cheers~
